Berta Lee Bonderman, 79, of Tolland, beloved wife of the late Glenn Bonderman, passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2015. She was born December 27, 1935 in Lewiston, ME, daughter of the late Elbert and Hazel (Parkhurst) Sawyer. She volunteered for many years with the YFU Exchange Program, at Woodlake at Tolland Nursing Home, and the Kitty Angels. Lee is survived by her children Valerie Bonderman of East Windsor, Sandra Bonderman and her husband Rick Wilton of WA, and Susan Bonderman of East Windsor. She also leaves her brothers Peter and Richard Sawyer both of Maine, as well as her grandchildren Andrea Stevens and her husband Steven Rotolo and Jennifer Stevens of MA, her great grandchild Joseph Rotolo and her son-in-law Jerry Stevens of MA. She was predeceased by her daughter Lynn Stevens. Relatives and friends may join the family on Friday, July 31, 2015 from 5-7 pm at the Tolland Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Merrow Road (Rt. 195), Tolland, CT 06084. A Funeral Home Service will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2015 at 11am. Burial will follow at South Cemetery, Tolland.
