Condolence: I've known gentle George for 65 years. He and his cousin Janet Socha Acelin and I were bicycle buddies. George has always been a quiet, soft spoken, gentle guy that everyone loved. He will be missed by many. His place in heaven has been held for him by his cousin Jan who passed 10 yrs. ago. Rest in peace. My sincere condolences to his daughters, family and friends. Elaine

Condolence: I've known George for 46 years. He and his first wife were the first couple my husband and I met when we came to CT in 1968. We rented, then bought a little house next door to them, from his parents. George, like his parents was a very gentile person, from our first meeting, until seeing and chatting with him at Mansfield Supply recently. A true gentleman every time we met. Over the years, he was consistent in his appearance, sporting his 50's Hair Style. His passing is a loss to all who knew and loved him, of this, I'm certain. I was caught off-guard today to read of his death, as I happened onto that page in the Chronicle. I will miss running into him and truly would like to extend my Condolences to his family and friends. His seat in heaven must have been ready. Goodbye, old friend. See you later.
