Obituary for David P. Morgana Sr.
David P. Morgana, Sr., 67, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Monday, June 22, 2020. He is the son of the late Richard Morgana. He is survived by his mother, Trudy Morgana of Vernon; his three children: David Morgana, Jr. of West Hartford, Edward Morgana and his wife Sandra of Vernon, and Crystal Morgana of Oklahoma; his brother Ed Morgana and his wife Sue of Bristol, his sister Linda Rizy and her husband Richard Rizy of Tolland, and his sister Lisa Morgana and her partner Tom Frenchof Vernon; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
David enjoyed fishing, attending car shows and watching the races at the Waterford Speedbowl. In addition, he often went antiquing and visited flea markets. David worked for 30 years at the Franklin Mushroom Farm in Franklin, CT. He was there when they opened and was there to shut the lights off on the last day before closing for good.
David has passed the checkered flag and finished his last race. He will now be forever in God’s Sweet Embrace.
An outdoor service will be held at New Lebanon Cemetery, 146 Waterman Rd. in Lebanon, CT, on Saturday, July 11, 2020 at 11:00 AM. An interment will follow immediately after the ceremony.
