Richard Wayne DeBour, 52, of Broad Brook, beloved husband of Hope (Richard) DeBour passed away Friday, August 17, 2018. He was born August 11, 1966 in Springfield, MA, the son of Barbara J. (Gore) Zawisza and the late Arthur H. DeBour. He was an unofficial historian for NASCAR Busch Series. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed genealogy. Besides his wife and mother, he is survived by his sons, Keenan DeBour of Springfield, MA and Aaron DeBour of White Law, Wisconsin; his step-son, Benjamin Petersen; and his brother, Arthur DeBour and his wife Sarah Lynn of Oak Island, NC. He was predeceased by his brother, Robert Michael DeBour. Relatives and friends are welcome to join the family from 9 to 11 AM on Friday, August 24, 2018 with a Funeral Home Service following at 11 AM at the Bassinger & Dowd Funeral Home, 37 Gardner St. East Windsor, CT 06088.
