Anne F. Mathieu, 65, of Willington, beloved wife of Richard Mathieu passed away Sunday, June 24, 2018 in the comfort of her home, surrounded by loved ones. She was born April 21, 1953 in Willimantic, the daughter of the late Michael and Olivia (Zoettl) Tymkiw. She loved interior design and staging homes for sale. She enjoyed traveling all over the U.S. and was an excellent cook. She was a photogenic fashionista who loved shopping. Anne relished time spent with her two sons, Alexander and Scott Britschock. She was an animal lover and caregiver who was loving, compassionate and understanding. Besides her husband, she is survived by her sons, Scott Britschock of New Market, NH, Alexander Britschock of Storrs, and Brian Mathieu of Vernon; her brother-in-law, David Green; her niece, Lindsay Kempton and her husband Jesse of Willington; her nephew, Michael Green of Manchester; her cousins, Carol Booth, Corina Wylie, and Evelyn Gillis and their spouses. She also leaves her dear, lifelong friends, Jon and Myra Berman of South Windsor and Nancy Grzych of Columbia. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Linda Green and her aunt, Gusty (Augusta Zoettl). Relatives and friends are welcome to join the family from 4 to 6 PM on Thursday, June 28, 2018 at the Tolland Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Merrow Rd. (Rte. 195) Tolland, CT 06084.
