Deborah S. Warren
Deborah Sistino Warren of Vernon, CT passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday, January 26th 2018 at the age of 63. Deb was born on January 30th 1954 in Brooklyn, NY to Jeanne and Frank Sistino. She spent her early teenage years in East Northport, Long Island before moving with her family to Enfield, CT. She was a graduate of Enfield High School, class of 1971 and received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Central Connecticut State University. Deb worked for Cigna Healthcare in Bloomfield, CT for 25 years before retiring in 2014. Deb enjoyed every day of her retirement, especially when spending time with her grandson, Nolan. Her kind heart was visible to all she met. Deb loved to entertain. She was known for her signature culinary delights and attention to detail, making all holidays fun and memorable. She delighted in planning events and vacations with her friends and extended family, but held a very special place in her heart for Cape Cod. She will always be remembered for her keen fashion sense, her culinary skills, her clever words of wisdom and her ability to beat most people at Words with Friends. Deborah is survived by her husband Duane Warren, her daughter Erica Oberman, son in law Zacary Oberman, beloved grandson Nolan Oberman of Middleboro MA, and her daughter Olivia Warren of Springfield, MA. She will also be missed by her sisters Patricia Sistino Lavalette of Springfield, MA and Joan Sistino Armstrong of Simsbury, CT, her husband John Armstrong and their son Robb Armstrong, his wife Vicki Armstrong and their son Simon Armstrong, their daughters Rachel Armstrong of Simsbury, CT and Mallory Armstrong of Jersey City, NJ, as well as many other family members and friends.
