Paul K. Kingsbury, 87, of Coventry, husband of the late Janice M. (Saenger) Kingsbury, passed away Friday, Sept. 8th, 2017. He was born Nov. 24th, 1929 in Hartford and was raised in East Hartford. He was the son of the late Frederick and Helen Kingsbury. Paul proudly served in the Navy during the Korean War and worked as a woodworker and cabinet maker. He was an active member of Boy Scout troop 65 in Coventry with over 40 years of service, and was an honorary member of the South Coventry Fire Dept. Paul is survived by his children, Cheryl Johnston of Tolland, Douglas Kingsbury and his wife Theresa of Bristol and Nancy Watts and her husband Rich of Columbia. He is also survived by his grandchildren Robert Breault, Derek Johnston, Nicholas Johnston, Troy Watts, Kristina Watts, Ashley Watts and a special great-granddaughter, Bailey Breault as well as many nieces and nephews. Friends and family are welcome to join the family from 5 to 7 pm on Monday, Sept. 18th, 2017 at the Coventry-Pietras Funeral Home, 2665 Boston Tpke., Coventry. A funeral service will follow at 7pm at the funeral home. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
