Russell S. Allen, 79, of Rockville, beloved husband of 52 years to Patricia (Sombric) Allen passed away Saturday, May 6, 2017. He was born January 7, 1938 in Hartford the son of the late Antoinette Morrisette. He is survived by his sons; Russell P. Allen of Horsebeach, FL, and Darryl Allen and his wife Theresa of Rockville; his daughters, Theresa Mumford and her husband David of New York, and Katherine Gaskey of Maine. He also leaves many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are welcome to join the family from 10 - 11 AM on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at the Burke-Fortin Funeral Home, 76 Prospect St. Rockville, CT 06066. A Memorial Service will follow at 11 AM at the Burke-Fortin Funeral Home. Burial will be held privately at the request of the family.
