Francis J. Tomasek, 93, of Ellington passed on to God on Friday, December 16, 2016. Born May 30, 1923 in Big Timber, Montana, he was the son of the late Joseph and Annie (Nikel) Tomasek. Most of his life he was a carpenter. He built many homes in Vernon and nearby towns. He was a World War II Veteran of the U.S. Air Corps. Frank is survived by his sister-in-law, Del Tomasek; his four nieces and nephews, Debra Tomasek (Kerry), Randi Flamino (Doug), William Tomasek (Kathy), and Todd Tomasek (Diane); six great nieces and nephews, Aaron Flamino (Linda), Yolanda Flamino (Matt), Elizabeth Langley (Scott), Lance Flamino (Ashley), Sarah Clock (Jon), and Annie Clock; and 11 great great nieces and nephews, Grace, Leah, Emma, Annalise, Nora-Del, Ellis, Harrison, Dahlia, Hannah, Kendall, Cal and Caleb. He was predeceased by his brothers, Harry, Robert, William and Joseph Tomasek; and his niece, Mary-Del. He will be greatly missed. Frank requested no calling hours.
