Daniel E. Rowley passed away August 14, 2016 surrounded by those he loved and deeply cared for. In the opinions of those who knew him best, Dan was considered to be an incredibly generous, adventurous, loyal, kind and caring man. Whether he was boating on Coventry Lake, hiking or snowmobiling in New Hampshire, exploring Block Island, golfing, or going on one of his many road trips, Dan truly loved being with his friends and family. While he left us far too soon, he packed an awfully full life into his 41 years. He lived exactly how he wanted to live, loved who he wanted to love, and he was available to anyone who needed him. He will be missed, but more importantly, he will be remembered. Dan was a loving boyfriend, son, brother, uncle, friend, and “thunder buddy”. He is survived by his parents James T. and Diane Rowley, Coventry, CT, his adored and devoted girlfriend Renee Gaudreau, Windham, CT, his brother and sister-in-law James P. and Regan Rowley, Willington, CT, his niece Evelyn Rowley, and his nephews Phineas Rowley and Joseph and Luke Lathrop, Willington, CT, and the most supportive and amazing friends. In lieu of flowers, Dan requested that donations be made to his nephews’ and niece’s school activity fund. Checks can be made to the Center School Activity Fund, 12 Old Farms Road, Willington, CT 06279. We will be gathering at Margarita’s in Mansfield, CT on Saturday, August 20 from 12-3 to celebrate his life. If you knew Dan, and would like to celebrate with us, please stop in and have a “Chuck’s Half”.
