Marguerite Leona Boutin Johansen, 90, of East Windsor, beloved wife of the late Lawrence P. Johansen, passed away on Saturday, July 9, 2016. She was born July 30, 1925 in Biddeford, Maine, daughter of the late Paul and Roseanna (Giroux) Boutin. She was married 61 years to Lawrence before his passing in 2001. Marge devoted her entire life to her family and will be greatly missed by all. She was “Mom” to everyone that knew her; “Gama” to her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her children Janice M. Pickman and her husband David of Bradford, NH, Lawrence P. Johansen III of East Windsor, Richard A. Johansen and his wife Wendy of Ashford, Donald R. Johansen and his wife Colleen of Ashford, Peggy Ouellette and her husband Ken of East Granby, and Deborah Johansen Cecere of East Windsor. She also leaves her thirteen grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren as well as her two four-legged children Candie and Chippy, many nieces and nephews, and many wonderful women she considered to be daughters. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at St. Catherine’s Church, Broad Brook. Burial will follow at St. Catherine’s Cemetery, East Windsor.
