Elinor F. Campbell, 100, formerly of Ellington and wife of the late Elton P. Campbell, passed away, Sunday, June 19, 2016 at Riverside Healthcare in East Hartford. She was born to the late John and Margaret (Tobin) Finley on June 30, 1915 in Rockville. Elinor retired after over 40 years as head bookkeeper for the State of CT Judicial Department. She was a communicant of St. Bernard’s Church in Rockville. She loved vacationing in Maine. Elinor was the past President of the Rockville Emblem Club #5. She is survived by her two daughters, Cheryl Sutyla and Deborah Campbell; her grandchildren, Lauren and Joseph Zeni, Natalie and Mark Smolenski, and Terrence Campbell; her great-grandchildren, Caroline, Katelyn, Kasey, Mia and Emma. She was predeceased in 2013 by her son-in-law, Richard Sutyla. Relatives and friends are welcome to join the family from 4-7 p.m., Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at the Small & Pietras Funeral Home, 65 Elm Street, Rockville. A funeral procession will gather by 10:15 Thursday, June 23, 2016 at the funeral home to St. Bernard’s Church, 25 St. Bernard’s Terrace, Rockville for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Bernard’s Cemetery.
