Elvina (Fontanella) Neff, 92, of Ellington, beloved wife of the late Donald E. Neff passed away Monday, January 25, 2016. She was born May 1, 1923 in Stafford Springs, the daughter of the late Geno and Marina (Panciera) Fontanella. She was a secretary for Pratt & Whitney for seven years and for Windermere School for over 20 years. She is survived by her sons, Gary Neff and his wife Lillian and William Neff and his wife Tamara; her daughter, Janet Fischer; her grandsons, Matthew, Brett, Peter and Nathan Fischer and Carl Neff; her granddaughters, Sonji Palotti and her husband Adam and Rachel Gaetani and her husband Joseph; her two great grandchildren, Carter and Henry Palotti and her sister, Alma Brigham. Besides her husband she was predeceased by her brothers, John and Robert Fontanella. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM on Thursday, January 28, 2016 at St. Bernard’s Church, 25 St. Bernard Terrace, Rockville, CT 06066. Burial will follow at Ellington Center Cemetery.
