Obituary for Everett G. Peterson

Everett G.  Peterson
Everett G. Peterson, 63, of Rockville, passed away on Wednesday, October 28, 2015. He was born February 5, 1952 in Yonkers, NY, son of Everett and Mary (Downey) Peterson. Everett’s band, The White Light, played in the battle of the bands at Rockville High School in the 1970’s. He enjoyed music, especially the guitar and was self taught by listening to Chet Atkins. Also a self taught artist who loved to draw cars. A fan of Mopar, he drove a 1973 Hemi Dodge Demon which he customized. Everett was a spark of light and laughter to all who knew him. He is survived by his sisters Marylynn Rebusmen and her husband Richard of Warren and Sheila Spinelli and her husband Joseph of Rockville. He also leaves his nephew Richard Rebusmen and his wife Marta and his great nieces Noelle and Eva. Relatives and friends may join the family on Tuesday, November 3, 2015 from 4-7 pm at the Burke-Fortin Funeral Home, 76 Prospect Street, Rockville, CT 06066. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11am on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at St. Bernard’s Church, Rockville with burial to follow at Ellington Center Cemetery, Ellington.
